The Reddit toolkit connects Arcade agents to Reddit via OAuth, enabling authenticated read and write interactions with posts, comments, and subreddits.
Capabilities
- Identity & account: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own post history.
- Subreddit exploration: Fetch post listings (new, top, controversial, etc.) from any subreddit, check subreddit existence and access, and retrieve subreddit rules.
- Post reading: Fetch the content/body of a single post or batch-fetch multiple posts efficiently in one call.
- Comment reading: Retrieve the first page of top-level comments on any post.
- Content creation: Submit text posts to subreddits, comment on posts, and reply to existing comments.
OAuth
This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 using Reddit as the provider. See the Reddit auth provider docs for setup details, required scopes, and configuration steps.
