Zendesk is a customer support platform; this toolkit lets Arcade agents manage support tickets, retrieve conversation history, search knowledge base articles, and inspect account context via the Zendesk API.

Capabilities

  • Ticket management — list tickets with offset-based pagination, add comments (public or internal), and mark tickets as solved with an optional closing comment.
  • Conversation inspection — retrieve all comments on a ticket, including the original description, author IDs, timestamps, visibility flags, and file attachments.
  • Knowledge base search — search published Help Center articles by query text, labels, or date filters; multiple filters can be combined in a single call with offset-based pagination.
  • Account & identity — fetch the authenticated user's profile, role, organization, and Zendesk account context.

OAuth

This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 through Arcade's Zendesk provider. See the Zendesk auth provider docs for setup details.

Secrets

  • ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN — Your Zendesk account subdomain (the {subdomain} part of https://{subdomain}.zendesk.com). This is not a credential; it identifies which Zendesk instance the toolkit targets. You can find it in your browser's address bar when logged into Zendesk, or under Admin Center → Account → Branding. Every Zendesk account has exactly one subdomain assigned at signup.

For guidance on configuring secrets in Arcade, see the Arcade secrets docs. Secrets can also be managed from the Arcade dashboard.
